Fernando Quivira and Matt Higger (Northeastern University) won the 2017 RERC on AAC Student Research and Design Competition for their work on Shuffle Speller, a novel method of computer interface for persons with severe speech and physical impairments. Matt attended the 2017 RESNA conference and discussed both past work and proposed future development of Shuffle Speller with AT developers, manufacturers, and researchers.
Shuffle Speller is the result of the ongoing work of Fernando Quivera, Matt Higger, and Dr Deniz Erodgmus (Northeastern University), and Dr. Melanie Fried-Oken and Betts Peters (Oregon Health and Science University)
