Abstract: Lack of training in the provision of adapted literacy instruction for individuals who use AAC. Despite research findings that these individuals can learn to read, a gap exists between research and clinical outcomes. In an effort to close the research-to-practice gap, online modules were developed to train pre and in-service SLPs in the provision of adapted literacy instruction. Results and training examples will be shared.
