Results suggest that by simplifying the operational requirements of AAC apps, the programming time is reduced, which may allow partners to better support individuals who use AAC

Boyle et al describe the results of a pilot study intervention using digital texts including VSDs and T2L features with children with language delays in an inclusive preschool setting.
2018 Student Research & Design Competition: Access and AAC
The RERC on AAC is pleased to announce the 2018 Student Research and Design Competition. The 2018 Competition is designed to stimulate research and development on the topic of Access and Augmentative and Alternative Communication. First prize is an award of $3,000 to support development of the project, and attendance at the RESNA 2018 conference.
